Grandfather Mountain Nature Photography Weekend
Grandfather Mountain's Nature Photography Weekend May 31-June 2 will feature a special presentation by J. Scott Graham.
For three decades, Graham has carved a unique path, combining the art of photography with creative business acumen to become one of the industry's most successful artists. Utilizing his celebrated imagery, Graham creates, manufactures, then distributes his product line throughout the United States and in the Caribbean.
Though he works with many state parks, national forests, national historic sites, and tourist destinations to create an array of products for their gift shops and retail outlets, Graham is most well-known for his legendary images of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park - America's two most popular national park sites.
"Of all the many beautiful places I photograph" Graham states, "these two parks are closest to my home and to my heart."
During the event at Grandfather Mountain, Graham will be answering the question that every aspiring artist wants to know: "How do I make money doing what I love?"
"I receive numerous inquiries from photographers, artists, and musicians wanting to know how they can be successful pursuing their passion," Graham explains. "We will have an entertaining question and answer forum where all inquiries are welcomed and, hopefully, responses will inspire, and maybe even surprise the audience."
This is expected to be a sold-out event so participants are encouraged to register early by visiting grandfather.com.
