(Center photo) A one-mile hike leads to 30-foot SPRUCE FLAT FALLS. (Clockwise from upper left hand corner) At 120 feet tall, MINGO FALLS is one of the highest waterfalls in the Southern Appalachians. A hiking trail separates the upper and lower sections of 80-foot LAUREL FALLS. Deep Creek is home to three waterfalls including 25-foot INDIAN CREEK FALLS. A rainbow produced by mist from 80-foot RAINBOW FALLS is visible on sunny afternoons. MOUSE CREEK FALLS cascades 45 feet into the swift moving waters of Big Creek. Though only 20 feet high, ABRAMS FALLS features a large volume of water that thunders into a deep pool at its base. TOM BRANCH FALLS descends 60 feet down a rock face on the far side of Deep Creek.
